Exclusively Housewares – a few of our favourite things
When the dog bites and the bee stings, we all know what to do. Now, thanks to our recent trip to the annual Exclusively Housewares exhibition, the Brookes team have stored up quite a few new favourite things to keep us shining through to 2017!

Exclusively Housewares is bang on trend

This year Exclusively Housewares, BHETA’s leading trade event for all things housewares and electrical, reached new heights thanks to trend forecasters Scarlet Opus. Providing a fascinating insight into emerging trends for the coming year (read our garden trends predictions here), Exclusively Housewares saw Scarlet Opus select 45 pieces across to receive the highly acclaimed #SOCool award for on-trend design and innovation. The Brookes & Co girls couldn’t help but pick their personal favourites…

Sam goes bold with Western House

Account Director Sam was bowled over by the retro coloured glassware from Exclusively Housewares exhibitors, Western House.

‘The perfect mix of sophistication with a bright pop of colour, these super stylish glasses are perfect for parties, intimate dinners or even enjoying an alfresco glass of wine in my new Arbour from Grange!’

Root7 gets the thumbs up

Having picked up a #SOCool award whilst exhibiting at Exclusively Housewares, Root7’s Himalayan Shot Glasses caught the eye of Account Executive, Tiffany. Made from solid Himalayan rock salt, this unique barware adds just the right amount of salt to your Tequila Slammer!

Spoilt for choice

For Managing Director Kate, picking just one product from Exclusively Housewares proved far too tricky. From DKB Household’s Fresh Herb products to the Tabletop BBQ from BergHOFF, Kate felt spoilt for choice, commenting

I have seen so many tremendous products, all thoroughly deserving of their awards. If there is one thing I’ve taken away from Exclusively Housewares today, it is that alfresco dining and outdoor living is very much on the rise. This is great news for many of our clients and for the home and garden sector in general and I am very much looking forward to seeing how these changing lifestyle trends influence the market over the coming years.
