National Home Improvement Month goes ahead in September

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association’s (BHETA) consumer promotion, National Home Improvement Month 2020, is going ahead in September in partnership with Homebase and Wilko.

National Home Improvement Month (NHIM) usually takes place in April; but this year was postponed owing to Covid-19. The month-long campaign aims to inspire and enable consumers who are looking to tackle home or garden projects or have fun with crafts and upcycling to do so with confidence.

The National Home Improvement Month campaign features the tagline ‘Love The Home You Live In’, and consumers can get involved by following #makeonechange and #loveyourhome.

2020’s National Home Improvement Month follows what the BBC has described as a “DIY spending splurge” during lockdown.
